GeoPeer was born inspired on a headless, fault tolerance and distribute architecture. The ideology of decentralized info was taken borrowed from a peer-to-peer system. With that on the mind, all end-points are VPN terminals able to share geolocalization. You give your geolocalization and you get borrowed others'.
GeoPeer works with open source solutions, end user configurations are in clear text and they can be reviewed by anyone. We will support all platforms where SNIProxy and OpenVPN runs, but by now, we start with Linux.
When you connect to GeoPeer service, the following happen:
- Your node is available for sharing your geolocalization
- You will be ready to use other's geolocalization
When you disconnect from GeoPeer, the following will happen:
- If you are the last from your country, it will be unavailable for other users until you come back
